PILGRIM MEMORIAL STATE PARK (PLYMOUTH ROCK)
LOCATION - Pilgrim Memorial is on Water Street in Plymouth Harbor.
FEATURES - Plymouth Rock commemorates the Pilgrim's landing spot in 1620 and is one of the United States' most famous historic sites.
ACTIVITIES - Visit the Plymouth Rock's historic site which is accessible via paved, level walkways. Enjoy fishing and boating.
In Plymouth, visit Cranberry World's Visitor Center at 225 Water Street to learn the various uses for the cranberry. For information, call 508-747-2350. Take a walking tour of historic Plymouth. Pick up a map at the visitor center.
Mayflower II, moored at State Pier, is a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World and portrays life on the 66-day voyage. It's open daily from April-November. Purchase a combination ticket that enables you to visit Plimoth Plantation. For information, call 508-746-1622.

During August, go to Burial Hill at the head of Town Square at 5:00 each Friday. Citizens come dressed in Pilgrim garments and reenact the church service performed in 1620 for the 44 survivors of their first winter in Plymouth. To learn more about the early Pilgrims, go to Pilgrim Hall Museum on Court and Chilton. It's open daily 9:30-4:30. For information, call 508-746-1620.
