PIERREPONT STATE PARK
LOCATION - The park is off Connecticut 116, north of Ridgefield.
ACTIVITIES - Enjoy a picnic and go fishing and hiking. During the winter, go cross-country skiing and ice skating.
Woodstock Nature Center is at 56 Deer Run Road at Ridgefield/Wilton on Connecticut 7. Take botany walks, go birding, and attend wildlife programs. The center has 148 acres of wetlands, 2 miles of trails, and a boardwalk. For information, call 203-762-7280.
