LOCATION - From Enosburg Falls, go west 3 miles on Vermont 105, then north for 3 miles on Vermont 236.


FEATURES - Lake Carmi is Vermont's fourth largest natural lake. The lake has the third largest peat bog in Vermont, with most of it designated as a State Natural Area.


ACTIVITIES - Camp in one of 178 campsites, including 35 lean-tos, or stay in one of two waterfront cabins. Go hiking along the Old Railroad Bed Walking


Path, explore the 1/2-mile-long nature trail and go swimming from beaches which are located in both camp areas. Go fishing for bass, walleye, and northern pike and boating from the ramp in Lake Carmi with rentals available. Purchase snacks from the park store in the Day-Use Area.


Attend the Dairy Festival held in Enosburg Falls in early June.

Stowe, 35 miles from the park, offers a 5-mile bikepath heading towards Mount Mansfield. Drive up the Stowe Auto Toll Road or take a gondola to the summit to hike trails at the summit. The gondola begins 7,5 miles northwest of Stowe on Vermont 108. Hikers and bicyclists can overnight at the Vermont State Ski Dorm and Hostel located at the foot of Mount Mansfield.
