GREENFIELD STATE PARK
LOCATION - The park is one mile west of Greenfield off New Hampshire 136 on the shore of Otter Lake.
ACTIVITIES - Go swimming, hike the nature trails, rent a rowboat, and fish in the pond. Enjoy a picnic and camp in the 252-site campground with a dump station from mid-May through mid-October. Campers have their own swimming beach. Refreshments are available. Go mountain climbing up Mount Monadnock or Crotched Mountain. During the winter, go snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
Visit Curtiss Dogwood State Reservation at Lyndeborough off New Hampshire 31. Come in the spring to see some of New England's best dogwood displays, which generally peak in early May. Attend summer theater at Peterborough.
