Saint Pauls Church National Historic Site
In southeastern New York, in Mount Vernon
Located on the former village green of Eastchester, the park contains a 5-acre burial ground dating to 1665, an 18th-century church associated with the American Revolution, and a site museum. The site was designated in 1943 and transferred to the Park Service in 1980.

Programs & Events: Site tours (weekdays), burial-ground tours (occasional weekends). Tower walks (Apr.-Oct., Fri. 3 pm), living-history programs, costumed interpretation programs with special activities for children (July, Aug., Wed. at 12:15 pm), Black History Month (Feb.), Women's History Month (Mar.). Military encampment and reenactment commemorating 1776 Battle of Pell's Point (3rd Sat., Oct.). Tips & Hints: Visit Apr.-Oct.. Busiest June and July, least crowded Jan. and Feb.

From the Hutchinson River Pkwy. Exit 7, turn left onto Boston Post Rd., take Boston Post Rd. to Pelham Pkwy., and make a right; 4 stoplights later make left on to S. Columbus Ave. Closest airport: LaGuardia (10 mi).
