Hancock House, circa 1734, is located 5 miles out of Salem in Hancock's Bridge. It was the site of a Revolutionary massacre of Quaker patriots by the British. The house is open Wednesday-Sunday. For information, call 609-935-4373.

To see a 500-year-old oak, visit the entrance to the Friends' Burying Ground on West Broadway.
