CHENANGO VALLEY STATE PARK
LOCATION - The park is 13 miles northeast of Binghamton on New York 369. FEATURES - Lily and Chenango lakes are kettle lakes formed by receding Ice Age glaciers.
ACTIVITIES - The park is open year-round. Camp in the 216-site campground, 51 with electrical hookups and trailer dump station, or stay in one of 24 cabins. Snacks are available at the snack bar.
Attend a summer concert and go hiking and bicycling. Enjoy swimming, fishing for trout, pike, bass, and walleye, and go boating in Chenango Lake with rowboat rentals available. Play golf on the eighteen-hole course. For a tee-off time, call 607-648-9804.
During the winter, go camping, cross-country skiing on 13 kilometers of trails, sledding, snowshoeing, ice skating, tubing, and tobogganing.

Flower lovers can tour Cutler Botanic Gardens at 840 Front Street in Binghamton. Guided tours may be scheduled in advance by calling 607-772-8953.

Take a ride on the wood-carved Ross Park carousel from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is a piece of litter.
